Thank
you for stopping by Omnis-Dev. We hope you have found something
useful here to use.
Omnis-Dev is the Omnis developer community's independent source
of information. We are not affiliated with Omnis Software
or any other Omnis based organization. There are no membership
fees. You don't have to belong to an organization. There is
no cost to use any of the material or services here. We just
ask that you keep the topic of conversation on Omnis and related
issues.
We feel that Omnis Software has produced such fantastic software
for the last 2+ decades. Unfortunately, not that many people
know about it. With your help, that will change.
This site is designed to fill two very real needs:
1) Provide information on and about Omnis Software products
2) Provide a publicly available, high volume site that uses
Omnis technology.
How can you help?
+ Be an active member of this site.
Research, discover and submit. You will notice as you go through
the different areas, that there are not that many restrictions
on posting. Supply a password and you can come back later
and make changes to your information if needed. This site
is about information. The more information, the more useful
it will become. (Of course, there are moderators that will
check content)
+ Suggest improvements.
This is YOUR site. Tell the webmaster what you think and what
can be added. The last thing the Internet needs is another
flat, static site.
+ Volunteer to be a moderator.
Even the best software needs monitoring. If you'd like to
help check on an area or categorize information, contact the
webmaster. Let us know how much time you can spend, what you'd
like to do, what kind of computer and network connection you
have.
What you see here today is just a fraction of what can be
done. All it takes is your support.
Thanks,
Omnis-Dev
